But I've been real busy.
and on top of it all, I injured myself a few days ago in an hotel. First and last time i'm using a pant press! Gosh, not only is this hotel so quirky and pretty noisy, but it is not safe! It used to be a mental hospital, so the corridors never end and there's only one lift for the whole hotel.
I shouldn't say the name of this hotel, but it was in Manchester, UK. I did not have an iron board, so I thought I would use the pant press, when I tried to open it, the wood board fell on my feet!
It is really hurtful. and of course, it happened 45 minutes before pick up!
I could not work for the way back. I was mortified but I had to dead head, which means, you seat in the aircraft and you don't work while your crew has your adding load. You feel so bad the whole flight!
And now, the whole paper work begins, telling my manager what happened, telling the company what happened, why I had to deadhead and I have to go to the clinic in the morning (because of course, that happened during my weekend days in Dubai, so the clinic was closed).
Now I'm really angry against the hotel for not checking their material.

J'ai été très occupée mais c'est pas une excuse !
En plus de tout, je me suis blessée il y a quelque jours dans un hotel. C'est bien la premiere et la derniere fois que j'utilise un presse pantalon ! Non seulement cet hotel est vraiment mal fait (c'est un ancien hopital psychatrique, donc les couloirs n'en finissent pas et il n'y a qu'un seul ascenseur), il est biscornu et bruyant mais en plus il n'est pas sur ! Je ne devrais pas citer le nom de l'hotel, mais il s'agit du notre à Manchester, en Grande Bretagne.
Comme je n'avais pas de planche à repasser, je me suis dit que j'utiliserai le presse pantalon pour repasser mon uniforme, mais quand j'ai essayé de l'ouvrir, la planche en bois m'est tombée sur le pied !
Autant dire que c'est vraiment douloureux et bien sur, 45 minutes avant l'heure de rendez vous ! Je n'ai pas pu travailler pour le vol de retour et j'ai du revenir "deadheading", ce qui signifie que j'étais assise comme une passagere pendant que le reste de l'équipage prend sur eux votre charge de travail. J'étai mortifiée pendant tout le vol !
Et maintenant, la partie papier commence. Il faut que j'explique ce qui c'est passé à ma manager, à la compagnie, et il faut que je me rende à la clinique au petit matin (puisque bien entendu, cela m'est arrivé pendant les jours de weekend à Dubai, donc la clinique etait fermée !).
Maintenant j'en veux vraiment à l'hôtel de ne pas verifier leurs matériels dans les chambres !
