Birmingham BHX

I went to Birmingham UK as a layover this week. My crew was awesome and we worked so well as a team. The flight was busy but alright. As long as people are not rude, I have no problem with demanding actually. And the whole flight depends on the crew, how you work together and how well you get along, it can make a flight awful or awesome!

Anyhoo, Birmingham was a nice surprise as I lived there 8 years ago!! Time flies by so quickly it is crazy. I was happily surprised to see that I still knew my way around!

The hotel is amazing and in the city itself we could walk up to the bull ring which is the biggest mall in Birmingham and we could walk around as well. Here are some pictures.

It was on B777,my first layover with B777 crew which was indeed different. We were 7 to go get a drink after the flight including the pilot! I loved it because he told us so many stories it was fun and he did pay for our drinks which was nice from him.

On the way back we had fun during the service and I think customers could feel it because I had a lot of good feedback.

The odd thing was how my body reacts to all of this. I realize I am out of time. I went on that 6hours flight, when we arrived we went for drinks for a few hours, which got me to bed at 5am dubai time, then I slept about 9hours, went shopping, went on my 7hours flight, then went straight for my flight back home…hum that’s a bit complicated explained like that. It’s just I don’t live according to time anymore but more according to much time I need sleep and when is my next flight. I don’t have a pattern anymore and the odd thing is that it works great with me whereas for some of my batchmates it is difficult for them.

this is the difference btw a nice hotel and a very good one : I didn't have soluble coffee but a dolce gusto in my room!
